Located in Ontario, Canada. Currently with The Personal Insurance Company. My friend got in an at fault accident while she was driving my car. Her husband said he would take of it on his insurance. He never did, they are now divorced and there is no way he is taking responsiblity for it. Result, my insurance went up $80.00 per month. This was five years ago. Recently, I moved to a new location and I have to park on the street, because of this my insurance will go up $30.00 a month. So now I have to pay $230/month. I have been driving and with the same company for over 25 years but they won't give me a break. Should I change companies, any suggestions? Thanks

Im currently 17 years old; Im getting my driver license next week. I have a 1995 Nissan Sentra and I wanted to know what would be the cheapest insurance in Florida. I was thinking of getting my PIP only, but my price ranges are 0-250 a month. I also have a 20 year brother who had his drivers license since he was 17 years old and I was thinking if I can out his name as the head of the car insurance and add me as a secondary driver but I dont if it will be cheaper ??? If you know of an insurance that provides more than a PIP for my price range please let me know ??? If the insurance will not be cheaper under my brothers name, !!

No insurance, spun out on highway during severe snow storm and was hit. Who is at fault?

The section of highway I was driving on was 2 lanes wide and straight for a mile. Traffic traveling the opposite direction was separated by about 100 feet of grass. The maximum speed limit is 65mph and the minimum is 45mph. I was traveling at an estimated 45mph in the slow lane. The tail end of my car began to slide out to the right and I was unable to correct this due to the terrible conditions of the road. I spun completely around and was facing directly into traffic in the fast lane. A car traveling in the fast lane (at a rate of speed unknown to me) hit me head on, totaling both cars. Its hard to be sure, but I am estimating that the time between initial loss of control and impact was around 10 - 15 seconds. There were no injuries. I did not have insurance on my car due to being a college student and not having help from my parents. It is not legally necessary to possess insurance. Two months later, a collection agency is looking for $3,472 from me. Should I have to pay this?
